Issue with mechs

I just recently installed the mod. So far, I have seen a major issue.

Mechs are not working for me at all. I complete the quest needed to unlock mechs, but the game isn't recognizing that I have completed the quest. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

You have asked this in 3 places now. Just use one next time please.

This is because you didn't read the text. Nothing more.

You must research mechs, and then craft your own. The mech test mission completion text stated this. Check your research menus.

Be sure to read quest text and not just quickly click OKAY. It matters.
