Changing Foundation Limit
Is there an ini/server setting to override the distance limit? We've increased the max number of platforms and activated the "NoFoundationsRequired" setting in S+ but there's some other check that's preventing us from building outwards any further. Thanks

I currently have no ino config options. As stated several times, extending a raft above the default build size only works with vanilla / default Thatch ceilings and wooden or stone foundations.
With S+ it does not work. However, you can always replace your foundations later with S+.
You NEED the default snap points. S+ have these changed or removed.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just to clarify, we're fine with foundation support and can go way past the small raft size normally available in vanilla, we're just getting stopped by the distance limit hard coded on the raft types (building more than 15x15 on a battleship for example). The game specifically displays an error message saying we can't build any further away from the raft even though foundation-wise it's fine. I assumed this was something manually set in the dev kit since it varies by boat type, but are we able to bypass it by building with vanilla foundations then replacing with S+ later?

Use PerPlatformMaxStructuresMultiplier=1.5 (or any other number) in your gameusersettings.ini to be able to build wider then listed in my mod description.

Yeah we already set that one really high but it didn't affect the distance limits. We can still place structures on the boat but if we try to extend it outwards is says it can't go past the hard-coded 15x15 limit. I know that limit is there for balance but since I'm on a private server I was just curious if there was a way to override it.

Hmm if that doesn't work....hmmm, I have to test that myself then

Thanks, let me know how it goes. I could probably supply a screenshot of the exact message if you can't reproduce it.
