Not able to research Carrier airplanes
Can’t research any carrier airplanes it’s saying you need to research the land version even I researched the land version

Same thing happens to me. Currently saw it in both a US and Japanese playthrough. Which leads to Carriers being useless.

FIGURED IT OUT ON MY END!

I do not have "By Blood Alone"'s dlc. I went around the mod's files and found "bba_air_techs.txt". I deleted it and it fixed it for me.

Path:
"steamapps\workshop\content\394360\699709023\common\technologies\bba_air_techs.txt"

It also fixed weird icon mismatches
