Cardassian withdrawel from Bajor scripted?
I'm playing the TNG era start as UFP. It's 2360ish, and Bajor is still a Cardassian vassal but has pledged secret loyalty to me. Do I need to liberate them by force, or will Cardassia withdraw as in canon?

I would be happy if Bajor were ever annexed permanently. They always liberate themselves, and far too soon, after the occupation of Cardassia. I've never had a successful Bajor story so far.

I now understand that they are not occupied by you (Cardassian territory) but that they are a normal vassal, right?

Yes. So Bajor eventually liberates itself? If not, I do have a valid liberation casus belli.
