Um.... Where is the ammo? Every time I use givecurrentammo, it doesn't give ammo to me for the grenade. Works with every other weapon tho

I can't use it, the mouse 1 or 2 seem to not work

You're not familliar with bug reports are you? hahaha.

- For those who "can't find ammo"
This weapon does NOT use the same ammo as the HL2 grenade. It uses its own ammo, called "hexshield_grenade". If you want more ammo, right-click on the spawn menu weapon icon and select "spawn using toolgun".

- For those who can't find the weapon
Open the spawn menu, go to the weapons tab, and click on "Other" (where the physgun and toolgun are located) and there should be a weapon there named "Hex-Shield". If it is not there, try disabling all other addons and restarting GMod.

- "It's not working"
What do you mean? Does nothing happen when you equip it? Does your arm not pull back when you press MOUSE1? Does it not throw the grenade when you release MOUSE1? Give me details! Try disabling all other addons and restarting GMod if it doesn't work and it should fix it.

- "It's throwing errors"
Tell me EXACTLY what the error messages say! Usually disabling all other addons and restarting the game will fix any problems. Try that and let me know if it still errors.


I have tested this weapon MANY times in two different operating systems with AND without my other addons enabled, and it always worked perfectly and never caused errors.

When I spawn the grenade via the toolgun, it gives me the ammo for it, but when I equip it my HUD says I have none and nothing, not even my character's arms, appear on screen.

I tried disabling a lot of addons (I have somewhere around 200 last I checked, and disabled about half of them)

Is the shield supposed to be transparent? Because it is not for me.

Basically, when spawning the swep it does not give ammo and nothing happens when Mouse1 is pressed (Probably due to not having ammo) spawning it with a toolgun does not give ammo either.

i found the reason for me i can't use the sheld when i have a certain addon on ket me find it

for me it was the E.W.A (Equiped Weapon Addon)

When I equip this thing, i cant throw it down.
