You have to put /game/mods/661564024/ShigoIslands into your Map Path. But for me, the Server starts but i cannot connect. Failed to load map it says.

that's what happens to me.
ive installed maps before so I thought I was doing it correctly.

advice anyone?

so you have copied the Mod folder and the .mod file with the same number ?
you dont have the number un the aktiv mods list (it should not)
but you have it in the aktiv mapmods list.

sure do.
even tried deleting the file and redownloading incase it was a corrupt download. no dice

even tried with no mods

can you post your startup lines (without any passwords!)
and you server settings ? Please delete out the passwords !

what are startup lines? i use the ark server manager so no idea what they are

i never started my map with the servermanager xD only know how to manual do it... I only hav a server with a userinterface . can you post a screenshot or a log of your Servermanager settings ?

its strange because i can load any other custom map like the volcaneo fine

I know this is old already, but incase someone encounters the same issue. To get this (or any other custom map, for that matter) running in ASM you need to add the workshop ID to the mod list. I added to the beginning for good measure. Then in the map name field you enter the map name, for example, shigoislands. Hit the button to install/update mods, save, start, profit.
