Now this is a great idea.
Have the Abbey of Monte Casino as the defend goal and have many hills and lovely developed German bunkers and defensive positions (Just like the real Battle of Monte Cassino). In reality The Italians lost but were able to put some serious damage on the advancing American forces
Leningrad: USSR vs Germany
Make it similar to Cerebulons Stalingrad map but have the Neva River as one of the main holding points (but not as a defend goal). In reality the USSR forces managed to hold out and push against the wiery German forces.
Herkules (or Malta or Crete): Greece (idk if they are in GSM) and Britain vs Germany and Italy
The Seige of Malta (or Crete depending if Greece is in GSM) was a British hold out against the German Luftwaffe and Italian airforce. Like Operation Seelow, the German plan was to bomb the Brits to submission and then land fallschmjaegers to capture key points followed by a ground invasion. You could do destroyed heavy fortifications and rubble or once great defenses vs a joint Italo German invasion force. To spice things up, have fallschmjaegers land around the map to pose as serious threats behind defensive lines.
One thing I have noticed about your maps is that apart from Mt Surabachi, there is a serious lack of elevation changes. For these maps to work you really need to add some elevation (ESPECIALLY FOR KASSERINE PASS AND MONTE CASSINO). For Herkules, just add similar elevation to what Cerebulon has in Triona defense.
Improvements to already made maps:
Mt Surabachi: Fix the map XD.
Berlin: Add some sort of elevation here and there. The map otherwise looks boring and repeating. Add more street things to make the place more lively. You can change the defend goal into the Reichstag and have the courtyard of the Reichstag as an epic holdout place (similar to the courtyard in Cerebulons Hamburg defense)
Westerplatte: Add more ♥♥♥♥ to the map, the docks are awesome but the fields are boring and look like you just copy and pasted elements everywhere. Make defense positions more interesting. Add little pillboxes in the forests and get rid of some of the set and stone defense lines. It is more fun to create defensive positions out of the little you have than stick to boring old trench lines that pretty much pre determine your next line of defense. Make t something similar to the Betio map in Cerebulons, were wierd elevations and unclear defensive lines make it a fun challenge.
Also, mix up the spawns of some of your maps. For example, Westerplatte has 223s spawning on the right, pz3s in the middle, flakpanzers to the left of the train track and mostly massed infi on the left. Mix this up a bit.
Another annoying feature is that the planes the ai sends out follows a pre-determined path and is honestly the only thing that can destroy your defense lines.Instead of planes, maybe add some light arty into the ai (not too much otherwise it might be impossible!).
All in all, I love the idea of more GSM maps and even though I dont know how to use the mowas2 editor, any playtesting or other help I can do to make this the next big thing will be awesome.
