Playing on EASY, my mission crashed when I still had lmost 60 minutes left to go in the Berlin Defense mission. Too bad. It looked like a good mission. My game rarely crashes.

The German mission for defending Berlin has these supplies on the map:
- About halfway up the north side of the map, there are some rifles and LMGs for your infantry to pick up. The map also has a Jagdpanzer for you to repair and use.
- There are a bunch of Russian tank crew on the northeast side of the map, and they come in among the houses.
- The instructions say that there are small crates with fortifications and mines. One of them is in the Northwest corner courthyard with the tower. The second is along the road that runs on the north side of the map, and is about halway along the road on the north side of the road. I still think it's helpful to order an Opel Blitz supply truck to get an extra set of X hedgehog roadbloacks, and to yoke up one of the 88 MM Flak guns.

The German Defense mission for Berlin has these reinforcement glitches:
- The German sniper reinforcement does not come with a sniper gun, just a mauser pistol.
- I clicked on a few reinforcements, one after the other, including A. the Engineering Opel Blitz supply truck, B. the ammo supply truck, and C. the Panzer VI Elephant Tank. A. The engineering truck showed up, but B. and C. didn't arrive on the map, even after lots of minutes.
- The Panzer V tank doesn't arrive if you click it as a reinforcement, but the Panzer IV tank does if you click it to order it as a reinforcement.
- The 8.8 MM Flak Truck doesn't arrive if you order it to come as a reinforcement.

Due to the Glitch in the Berlin mission where the Panzer V and VI tanks don't arrive when ordered, the only reinforcements that could take out heavy Russian tanks would be:
- The Opel Blitz Mines (maybe)
- The 88 Flak AT Gun
- The Reactive Rocket Artillery Truck
- The Artillery signalman (using his signal gun on manual aim that has only 5 artillery strikes).
- The Bazooka soldiers in the Waffen SS Truck (maybe).
- The 10 cm Flak gun (Maybe. It just has rounds, not AT shells).

The Panzer IV Tank and Sturm III AT tank have just 7.5 mm shells.

For those that still want to play:

Changing the mod version has no chance of succeeding. The first 5 minutes of a mission works fine, then crashes. Seeing that this mod has been left to die, the only way is to reverse the game version.

Step 1 find where your downloaded mods are stored.
Step 2 cilck on this mod then left click properties
Step 3 open mod.info (open it with notepad)
Step 4 change the MinGameVersion to this "3.115" and the MaxGamVersion to this MaxGameVersion "3.262.1"
Step 5 click save
Step 6 close it
Step 7 start your game up and see if it worked

Always creating mods that require Robz is further limiting the game. You have two or three major modders Robz, GSM, Valour - that require one to D/L Their mod first before you can D/L the ACTUAL mod you want.
This is becoming too much - and honestly the quality of the maps coming out lately only serve to feed the apathy I feel for this game.
There really needs to be a new MOW AS title developed and released, as many of us are sick of D/L mods that become void as soon as there is an upgrade.

@Maxthebox, I get what you are saying, i get the biggest bulk of those comments asking if these mods work and if they dont they come crying to me how my mod ruined their game cus its crashing. You seemed pretty convinced how i stole everything from global escalation so thats just what i wanted to clear up as it is the other way around, except he has my permission so its not stolen. When it comes to how well my mod works for those missions i can't say anything as i don't really play singleplayer anymore and mostly stick to balancing and changing things due to MP PvP.

I don't know about Globel Escalation asking you permission to use your mechanics, but the reason i called you out was because i think your mod is overated in the as2 community and it's annoying how every mod everyone always asks if your mod is compatible when most of the time it obviously dosen't work with it, or they say it because they think it SHOULD, and think they know what the mod was inteneded for. I got salty because someone said i should convert to your mod when GSM looked like it was dead and said it was better anyway but that's not true for defense missions at least on this scale. It would just be boring as fuck or to fast with the pace and not make exciting gameplay. I personally found Cerebulon formula to be better and more fun for me so i got tired of people thinking your mod would be better when it dosen't fit.

@maxthebox, When it comes to combat i can agree its too fast pased, but i mostly focus on multiplayer pvp which flows alot better than large scale defensive missions. If this game had functioning supression my mod would play vastly different, but that doesnt exist. Realism can depend alot on aspect aswell. You will always find some aspects of any mod thats unrealistic however realistic they claim to be. I never claim to be a "hyper-realistic real life this is how combat really was" mod. My mod is named "RobZ Realism" cus i wasnt creative enough to come up with some other name like GSM or valour. And seeing as most aspects of my mod is more realistic than vanilla the name seemed good enough so i rolled with it.

@Maxthebox, If you are going to try to call me out, atleast get your facts right first. I know the creator of global escalation and he asked ME for permission to use my mod mechanics in his mod. His mod released before mine, but that was without all the combat aspects it currently has as that was updated AFTER i released my mod and i got into contact with him. His other mod the WW1 realism mod also uses aspects of my mod which he asked permission for. You can see he is noting my mod in his description, but why would he do that if he was the original maker of these gameplay systems?

You'd have to copy/paste the files over yourself in your MoWAS2 file directory from single to multiplayer. Make sure you distinguish the map file from the mission file. It does look to be a good multiplayer compatible map.

And @Madrush? I'm sorry but that's kind of a inaccurate question, more appropriate to ask if an AS1 is AS2 friendly lol. To make it AS1 friendly, you'd have to remove any and all map and mission entities that aren't in AS1 from the AS2 files, and vice versa. Then will the mission file work at all? No one knows. There aren't any comprehensive guides out there for converting one game's GEM missions into another. Which is very unfortunate be cause AS1 has/had altogether more single player map/mission content overall.

Thanks for the kind words Morgan, and i was making kursk from the soviet side since i haven't done a soviet mission and it was going to be epic with it primarily focusing on armor. It's a real shame about the files but i will try one last time to see if i can save them and if i can i will make a post about them if so. I'm upset about Sword the most since it was by far the best map i have made and was going to be epic and fresh sinice it's always about Omaha beach like you mentioned.

On the other hand i do encourage you to edit and have fun with it and share your content with others, these missions just started out from me wanting to play more defense missions with my friends and so i just started making my own. If you want you can still download GSM on moddb but i wish you the best of luck with editing :)

Is there any way to extract your mission or map from your wrecked file for Kursk or Sword Beach? Would be nice because all the Kursk maps besides SirHinkel's leave much to be desired... and all the D-Day maps are endless re-imaginings Omaha Beach or GTFO. Were you making Kursk from Soviet or Nazi side?

Damn Max dropping knowledge! You tell em! I been saying that for awhile that RobZ is stupidly overrated. It's not realistic and not fun besides how strong Japanese and Brits get so you can just cheez against other weebs in the increasingly toxic RobZ playerbase. Better off just playing vanilla or valour.

Such a bummer to hear about your editor troubles and the slow painful death of GSM support. I just finally got good enough at making maps and missions to know what I'm doing after fooling around for some 100+ hours.... looks like I chose a bad time to start given the egregious lack of support this game has gotten from the devs. Even Assault Squad 1 had a healthier community, and probably a longer shelf life if memory serves correctly (been a long time since 2008 from the original MoW amirite?).

I can confirm. We attempted to use my editor (I can edit, I just stopped long ago after a similar error when uploading to the Workshop) and his backups would crash upon loading. It was a shame, it was the best looking map I had ever seen. I do agree with Max as well on the Robz observations. It looks pretty, but is the antithesis of historical accuracy in simulating warfare of the platoon level in MOWas2. If you want realism play the Close Combat series of games. Otherwise, enjoy the mod as it is now. I bet you can't beat all of them on Heroic ;)

BTW I'm also done editing for this game because i tried to make a Kursk misson TWICE after Tobruk and both times i got fucked over by this games broken editor. After talking to one of the devs i thought we fixed the problem but after i was almost complete with Operation Sword which was the british beach on DDAY which i was making this past summer, it happened again and my file was fucked. And before anyone says "WhY dId U nOt BaCk Up uR fiLes?" i did but when i tried to use them the same shit happened. So sorry to anyone who wanted more missions but this game has been broken ever since the major updates they did to this game a year or two ago.

Not really, its not fun especially for defense missions because 1 guy can kill a whole squad or more. Its not even that realistic because WW2 combat wasn't even that fast in reality which it trys to claim to mimick in a video game. All rob really did was take the formula for combat in globel escalation with the combat pace and reskined it for WW2. Which let me remind you globel escalation is a mod about combat between the major world powers in the 1960s era and came out before RobZ. I'm so tired of this community saying how Robs mod is so good when its not fun, not historically accurate (at least combat pace), and stole all his ideas from globel escalation.
