It's not dead. 2 days ago Docm30 left a comment on the L'Aigle modb page saying "You can't currently recruit Hungarian troops. I'd patch it now but that would break save-game compatibility, so I'm waiting to do it in the next major update". So at least there's an update on the way.

yes it not dead just some minor problems but you dont see that MUCH

Yea it's not dead, I recall docm responding me telling that he was planning on adding some new military horses

You can't expect a single person or small mod team push out updates eveyr month. they will realease when they feel to

Any word on the new update as in when it is going to come out because im dying for some new factions!

Finally, I've been wanting to do a Hungarian army for ages, great news.

Another comment from 5th of june: "I wouldn't count on there being an update this year."

That of course doesn't mean there won't be an update (which would include the hungarian units), instead that it will probably take some more time to be released.
