This should fix it:

1: Unsubscribe from the mod
2: go to steamapps/common/ARK/ShooterGame/Content/Mods
3: Completely delete the "469987622" folder AND .mod file
4: Resubscribe to the mod which will redownload the map
5: Profit!

Shouldn't being subscribed auto-update the map anyway? And also, if unsubbing then re-subbing is the only option to force an update, will that effect a current character and base etc?

I'd prefer a more definitive answer before I go and try it .. I've put many hours into developing my base etc. Also, this only answers the latter of my two questions :)

Yeah, I read that. I tend to read a few discussions before making a post .. I'm happy to wait for Kimmykix to answer my two questions though, as the changed areas for my base might not affect me, as well as the more curious first question I asked in my post above.

Alrighty :D

The unsubbing and re-subbing seemed to fix a lot of my problems. For some reason when the map updated from the workshop from 0.6 to 0.7 it wiped out a bunch of things and stopped things like supply drops from working also. It all seems OK now I've manually done stuff, but it's a little odd how effectively an overwrite broke some stuff, unless I don't undersatnd how it works.

Still, the changes look great, and although I can't find oil anywhere (which is a major problem), it's great to see so much cool work done on the islands.
