How re colour clothes
1. Get Paint.net ( http://www.getpaint.net )
2. Get "Unity Asset Editor"
3. Get "AssetsBundleExtractor"

Open a .unity3d file with "AssetsBundleExtractor"
- click export
- name and save

Open "Unity Asset Editor" .
open the .assets you just made with "AssetsBundleExtractor"
find the texture , right click and export as .dds

do what your doing to the texture...
save the texture as .dds ( the same as u exported )
settings: A8B8G8R8 - With Mip Maps - cluster fit

go back to "Unity Asset Editor" , right click the texture again and click import
and import your modified work.

goto file -> save in "Unity Asset Editor"
-name and save

back in "AssetsBundleExtractor" click import
- import the .assets you just made..

in "AssetsBundleExtractor" click save , click the original model once too put its name in the save name box. add a number to the end ( you cant write over the original because its open )

- close "AssetsBundleExtractor"
-delete the original .unity3d file you opend
-re name the .unity3d file you just made too the name of the original...

set the item ids in the .dat file ,, use ids over 10000 to avoid conflicts,,
stay away from 50000 - 60000 . there mine :P

I'm getting an error with paint, when I try to open a .dds file. Am I doing something wrong?

yeh u need paint.net not the microsoft paint

Whenever I export a unity file from the bundle extractor, it turns into a .file instead of a .asset and I can't open it with Unity Asset Editor. (It crashes upon opening it.)

It doesnt save as a .dds, I can only save it as .dat

I am very confused at the last 2 steps. What am I looking for when you mean the original model and when you mean import the .assets do you mean just open it ?
