I need more information so I can investigate a cause.

What quality settings were you using?

Do you have any mods that affect gravity/physics?

Was the cloth spazzing?

etc.

That's addon conflict afterall. tried to delete addons that show error on loading screen :facepunch:

yup, please report back what addon it conflicts with too so we can cover that bug :)

This problem happens to me, but it is for many addons. It is not the addons problem. It is just that your GMod may be overloaded with addons and may need to delete some. Hope this helped.

I remember Garry saying somewhere about refusing to fix it. Don't know if it's related to Rust development or otherwise, but clearly has something to do with the lua_shared.dll according to Visual Studio 2013.

Im guessing theres only so much scripts the lua parser can handle. Would be nice if we get to know at what exact point this goes bad (im guessing something like a certain amount of mb's of mere lua text)

Well It appears I may have found it. As in: one more file invariably crashes it no matter it's size, I'll post it here: Starting from a fresh empty lua cache, mine's got up to 3.48 MB before the engine simply couldn't handle any further ones.
