Don`t work in steam version
The mod does not work in the steam version. Vanilla mode starts. There is not even a fashion screensaver. Launching even without submodes, the mod does not start, instead the vanilla version starts.

unfortunately for u i just started DEI with no issues whatsoever
try resubscribing or redownloading the mod, i know steam has actualisation issues.
and make sure u read the mod instructions, i myself often overlook something when it comes to mods :)

It seems to be busted. I cant even do a custom battle since it wont recognise that a commander has been added.

Its not busted and works for thousands of people.

If you cant get custom battle issues, there is problem on your end, for example mod not properly installed, incompatible mods included or maybe you try to laod army preset from outside of DeI.

Now if mod starts as vanilla, you have to go to Rome 2 folder, find one called "Launcher", delete it ,verify game files to redownload it and should work fine.

The mod doesn't start for me with the Steam version either. The game starts vanilla.
