Disdained Faction Leader
Hi!
I need help on how to solve this problem. My faction leader has a trait shown in the politics tab as "Disdained Faction Leader". Obviously, this has detrimental effects on my faction. My faction leader has a rank of 8 stars and is definitely not "inept" as the trait mentioned.
Here's the link to the screenshot:

I've tried many times searching for a fix but it didn't seem to have been discussed before. Does anyone have the explanation of the cause of this trait and how to fix it? I'm using the newest version of DEI and several other small mods compatible with DEI uploaded by Dresden. This has been going on for awhile and I'd have no problem with it had I know the solution to remove this trait.
Thank you!

I always thought it was affected by Public Order. I have Beloved Faction Leader(99) and I like to have my provinces have the highest PO possible and it says that the people love me and that my rule is likely to be referred to as a golden age. Hence why I concluded it has to do with my generally high public order across all provinces. I maye have one single province where there's low PO (it's fun having a rebellion that takes back the region, and then I take it back again and loot it, rinse and repeat :steamhappy:) but all other provinces I want max PO.

Do you have lots of low public order? If so that might confirm that this might indeed be the case.

Thank you so much for responding and sorry for the late reply. I found out the other day that the trait is actually randomly generated each time at the start of a new game and after I set an heir I just send my faction leader to his demise. Luckily, my new faction leader is now beloved, so the problem is now solved :steamhappy:. To answer your question, no, I always try to keep my PO at 100 in every provinces.
Once again, thank you and best of luck to you!

I think for some factions and subfactions their leaders are just preprogrammed to be disdained like the Juni.

If that's the case it should probably be mentioned when you select your factions, as it does have a significant impact.
