Hello all, I've sunk in 1400 hours into Rome 2 and have never encountered a bug this severe; specifically in Divide et Impera. Here goes, it's rather simple:

My friend and I are 65 turns into a head-to-head campaign. I noticed that every time I attacked a certain rebel army (Tyrian rebels from Tyre), the campaign would desync immediately. So I just avoided them where possible and it was fine for a time. Then the rebels, as expected, swelled to such a size that they attacked me, thus triggering the insta-crash!

We have no real way of getting around this issue. If I attack the rebels, it crashes; if the rebels attack me, it crashes. We've restarted everything and verified cache to no avail.

Please help.
