Sparta is an Angry Plague-Fest
I'm playing on hard difficulty as Sparta, I quick attacked Athens with a couple of stacks and took it but on and off for the last 5-10 turns either Sparta or one of the stacks contracts the plague then gets over it, then gets it again etc.

Also the public order seems incredibly low, and I don't understand why as I have both stacks in patrol, only have tax on normal, no raiding is occurring and none of my buildings incur a public order penalty. Any ideas folks?

Maybe try playing on normal instead of hard?

That would defeat the object of playing it on hard though.

You aren't supposed to play DEI on hard, it makes things silly lol. Look at the description lol.

Are you sure you havent run out of supplies? It looks like plague on your army but your soldiers could just be starving.

For PO, you can post a screen of public order bonuses and penaltes in such province.
