I think i saw the description say that we can share out modded weapons, if so how do i do that? Ive made quite a few tiered vanilla guns and i dont mind posting it somewhere.

Also was thinking of putting it on the workshop but im not sure how to do that without copying the owners entire mod. If thats something i could do i would like to ask for a permission and understand how to post it on the workshop at all?

Hi,
The simplest way to do this is:

1. Copy this mod into your local mods folder (the one in the game directory, duckov_data/mods if i remember well, create one if not exist; not the Workshop folder).

2. Add your YAMLs and preview.png.

3. Edit the info.ini — change only the display name and description, and remove my old mod ID line.

4. Delete the templates (to remove the UMPs).

5. Then upload it to the Workshop in-game under Mods by clicking the ↑ button. Before uploading test if this local one works.

This mod is licensed under CC BY 4.0. So, please credit me (with mod URL) and Kamakoto in your description if possible — he kindly allowed me to decrypt his mod as part of the dev tools, and this version includes some of his work.
As long as you provide proper credit, you don’t need my permission to upload it as your own mod. You also don’t need to list me as a steam workshop mod co-contributer.

For your previous question I may update this one after my UMP45 / H.I.D.E.404 update.
Sounds great, ill probably see about uploading it later if at all. And yeah ill definitely credit you both if i do post it. Not sure how to credit Kamakoto besides just mentioning him( i mean i dont have a URL or anything of his thats related to this mod)

Do i need to list your mod as a dependency? I assume i dont cause it seems that ill be just pretty much reuploading urs without the UMP if i understand correctly.

Oh yeah it would be great to get even more functionality in this mod, but yeah no rush or anything.

Can i rename the mod name to anything other than UMP45_extended?

1. use his steam profile page or his duckov mod list page, both ok.
2. currently no. the second line of your mod displayed in mods within game should remain unchanged as the dll need this to be UMP45_extended (this should be the first line within the info.ini if i remember well).
I see and what if i rename both the info ID and the dll name?

The exact name UMP45_extended is embedded in the DLL, so altered titles/filenames will break the mod and not work as intended.
You can still add mine the mod url you included is sufficient.

I see. I dont think ive added any mod as a dependency or am i missing something?
