ATTENDANT: RECOMPOSED MASTER GUIDEBOOK
Last Update: October 27th, 2025 @ 1:27PM EST

EVERYTHING AT ONCE
- Everything At Once allows Attendant to freeze all projectiles in a special radius (togglable with the range button underneath the time resource gauge)
- Time is used for most projectiles, even if some don't need it to be usable.
- Time isn't necessarily a resource that needs constant management without the use of Everything At Once, and the mechanic itself, while not crucial to her gameplan, helps drastically with ranged pressure.
KNIVES
- Attendant has 2 knife types: Straight and Bounce. Straight Knives move in a fixed line, nothing more. Bounce knives bounce off any surface (wall, ceiling, floor).
- Knives are color-coded. Red and green knives simply indicate the knife speed, but blue knives are unparriable, but +0 on block. Red and green knives are +1 on block, but can be parried if the knives get blocked in a 3 frame window (much like mana dart from Wizard)
- All knives can however, bounce off Chainsaws, regardless of type. The knives will bounce towards the opponent's position, and have no momentum-based auto-aim. Illusion Sign "Killing Doll" also enables this with any projectile in range of Everything At Once
TIMESTOP
- Out of all characters with a timestop (bar maybe Michael, The Dark Bright?), Attendant utilizes timestops the most, having 3 different ways to put the opponent into timestop.
- 2 of 3 ways can be blocked to prevent the timestop from happening (Luna Dial and Sakuya's World) while the last one (Extra Chores) disables the opponent's ability to be hit during the timestop, and is only accessible when the opponent is in knockdown, hard knockdown, or getup.
- Extra Chores is used to enable massive blockstring damagae, while the others are either hard reads or combo extentions.
- Sakuya's World and Luna Dial scale combo heavily when a timestop is successful.
WEAKNESSES
- Attendant, while very capable in close-quarters, has a -1 on block jab, meaning blocking for it is entirely optional.
- Attendant's combos generally don't do too well on DI up, if High Kick isn't accessible.
- Attendant's knives each scale combo on hit, meaning she generally isn't very high damage (keep in mind the average damage of a vanilla character is 5-6k with proper DI... Unless Robot, who just does kills you damage, but that's for another time.)
- Attendant has a hidden passive where she loses time for taking chip damage based on how minus she is on block. This does come with the side-effect where she can *gain* time for being plus on block WHEN SHE BLOCKS SOMETHING. This effect does not occur if the opponent blocks her attacks.
- Attendant's projectiles all disappear if she is hit or blocks anything (whiffing block does not count)
- Attendant lacks multiple true anti-airs. Some buttons can catch airborne opponents (close-up magic, buzzsaw), but only Rend truly is capable of safely attacking the opponnet out of the sky. This move is however block punishable. Chainsaw does exist, but since her own projectiles diappear if she gets hit, this isnt nearly as viable.

UPDATE: OCT. 27, 2025, 1:27PM EST: Added the fact Attendant's antiairs are somewhat lacking and replaced Robot's general damage estimate to just "kills you"
