Sorry to hear this happened to both of you, but thanks for letting me know. Can you give some details as to how it stopped working? Were certain numbered targets not triggering at all? Also were you playing in single or multiplayer? Flat or VR?

When it happened for me, nothing was triggering. Not the numbers or the mines. The magnet also was inside of the box instead of on the outside. Like the drag plane dropped back a few cm.
Also the hint paper for the rook says X4 and the walkthrough says X5

Sorry again so many people seem to be dealing with issues with the magnet puzzle. I've been trying to reproduce on my end but haven't had any success. If anyone might be able to provide some video clips this would be super helpful. Also if you could specify if you were playing in multi or singleplayer. Thanks!

So I do see what's happening now. It appears the longer the player drags the magnet, the further back it sinks into the plane... No idea why this is happening :) But investigating now.

EDIT: Magnet drift bug is fixed! Magnets should no longer sink backwards into their puzzle the longer they are dragged around. Sorry again for the inconvenience!

Great map, your hint for the time puzzle says it should be
10:34 but the time is actually 9:34
We got to the candles part and they burnt out and somehow they disappeared. We loved the map! It is SO neat! I wish it didn't glitch out on us. It was just two of us playing.

Sorry to hear about this :\ The flames on the candles went out after lighting them? We're you able to take them out of the slots and re-light them? Haven't run into this yet but will look into it.

As you asked to report bugs: played this in multiplayer, we had desync with clock (it didn't break the game). Then only host could see spots on a magnet board with monocle, while I could see them only like this https://i.imgur.com/luHF27z.png, while he was holding it in his hands. Then as you can see on a screenshot above the magnet board was in a horizontal position for us, but when I played solo later it was like this in a vertical position https://i.imgur.com/FDvCz24.png. I assume it should be like on a second pic

Hey PIRO, thanks for the report. I'm glad the desync wasn't game breaking, but yes for multiplayer desync issues are unfortunately the most difficult to work around. These reports still help me come up with ways to mitigate it as best I can. Was it the mantle clock with the clock key that became desynced? Glad you were still able to complete the puzzle if so.

As for the monocle, I'll have to look into this. The hot spots on the magnet board should render in whenever someone is holding the monocle within a certain range of the board, but it seems in this case the render logic was only triggered by the host.

Regarding the two positions of the magnet board, the single player orientation where the board is vertical is the original and intended design. However the "Drag Target" method it uses does not sync in multiplayer at all. So when the game detects a multiplayer session, the alternate orientation is used and the magnets are changed to normal "Draggables".

EDIT: Just implemented a fix for the magnet hot spots not showing for client players when using the monocle. It's a bit of a janky fix for now, but can refine it later this weekend.

Ye, mantle clock, when we both zoomed in on it (while one was holding it in hands), we had clock arrows on different positions

We didn't have enough time to finish the map yet, we gona finish it today and I'll report new bugs if there will be any

The map is masterpiece, we should've saved it for Chrismas tho ha ha
I have a bug where I keep getting the message "Fire Pellet Box returned to inventory" its just annoying because it is spamming in the bottom left corner but I am going to finish the room anyway! Great work

This is really peculiar as that item is locked in place until picked up by the player, so it shouldn't be falling out of bounds. Also double weird as once it does fall out of bounds and returns to inventory, it shouldn't be doing it over and over.

Just curious, did you try reloading the room when this happened?
