Unless stated otherwise in the change notes, it's always a good practice to unsubscribe and resubscribe after a Workshop Item is updated.

This is required because the Steam update does not actually handle properly the removal of obsolete files, it only updates existing files and adds new ones. Obsolete files or files that were moved in different location, if still present in your machine, can cause conflicts with new updated files and cause bugs or crashes that would not be present in a "fresh" install.
