like guarding a special npc or player with full friendly mode to them and give authority to players like Title (boss/master/overword and more)
Currently they still just stand still in the AR2 pose until you get close.
Quick 3 ideas I came up with as soon as I saw this poll (or whatever it was):
1. Ambushes – Combine Soldiers
Extra AI behavior ideas related to Combine units.
If Combine spot the enemy (the player), they activate a 5- to 10-second timer.
After that, one of them says a line, which creates a “ping” or signal point.
Nearby Combine units now know where the player is and can prepare accordingly.
What are ambushes?
Ambushes mean: with a certain chance, a Combine soldier might hide behind objects or even behind the door itself.
When the player opens the door – bam, immediate attack.
Or they can wait in a hallway near the door to shoot the player from behind once he walks in.

2. Barricades
Combine units are aware of nearby props and movable objects.
They can use this to their advantage by dragging or pushing props to block doors, hallways, or escape routes.
This allows them to trap or delay the player, giving them time to regroup, call reinforcements, or prepare an ambush.
It's a simple way to make enemy behavior feel more tactical and reactive.

3. Mines
Inspired by the traking supply crate from Episode 2.
These can be redesigned and reused as deployable explosive traps.(traking fing)
Combine soldiers could attach these mines to breakable objects like crates, barrels, or doors.
If the player gets close or destroys the object, the mine detonates.
Before the explosion, the mine emits a rapid beep-beep-beep-beep sound to warn or build tension.
that ALL! hope its will help you (:
