Q: found a bug where campaign crashes after reconquering settlement
A: Most likely it's due to conflicts in mods, try turning off all mods, and clearing C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2 - there you'd need to delete all the contents of 'scripts' folder

Also you can send me the savefile in which the bug occured, so i could try and figure out the issue. You can upload it to Google Disc or something similar, and drop a link here.

The game crashes when a Veneti faction revolts in Caesalpine Galia, I lose the battle and the game crashes when the enemy captures the settlement.

Fixed — from now on, the game will spawn Latin Rebels in the initial cities instead (applies to the provinces: Corsica et Sardinia, Cisalpine, and Italia).

Unfortunately, for this fix to take effect, you'll need to restart your campaign.
Alternatively, I can manually fix your savefile if you send it to me — but keep in mind that this won’t permanently solve the issue. If the same situation happens again later in the campaign, the bug may reappear.

Yeah, i had that happen to me as well, and unfortunately i have no idea how to fix it. Tried all i could while developing mod, - no success :(. Although, even if you do accept peace, they should not accept any deals, and, in theory, they should declare war on you in couple of turns.
