All factions now have vehicle crew! upgrade discussion
suggestions

use same clothes as german tank top machine gunner for the german crew
same goes to russia's tank crew

Tiger Ace, Command tanks like Panther and pz4 should have a special crew *special abilities like sprint, camouflage like sniper does, artillery support and hold fire and others*similar to tiger ace COH tales of valor 1st mission* also use cloths like strum officer or knight cross holders or artillery officer

Oberkommando can attain 5* rank vehicle crew [it's currently 3* only at this point]

*please fix this*
missing description when abandoning/dismounting vehicle
Tiger Ace Cheat/Bug where you can abandon the tank then let other infantry crew it to get instant 3* veterancy then abandon the tank again then put another infantry inside to get 3* veterancy again and the cycle repeats


what i haven't tried yet when saving and loading with population bug due to vehicle crew being counted on population cap.

Bugs----------------

there was also a bug where an king tiger and panther with Panzer Commander upgrade, where it happens that when you upgrade the king tiger and panther with Panzer Commander, then abandoned it then re-crew it, the commander won't pop up visually and there's an binoculars swaying *invisible commander*

but Ferdinand/Elefant and ISU 152 tank is fine and not having that visual bug

also when you abandon a king tiger with the ability "Spearhead" activated, then when you re-crew it, the icon will show its inactive and no Spearhead icon buff but its active actually and when you try to activate it king tiger will not shoot anything from its main gun and turret will be useless, unless you press it again but then again your king tiger will be stuck at Spearhead mode forever when you want it to shoot things.

the only thing is to avoid this you have to de-activate Spearhead before unmounting the crew from the king tiger.

at the scoreboard when you bought a Panther Commander it will count as it is, unless you abandoned it and re-crew it it will count as Panther unit.

user thoughts------

also i mostly rather use pioneers or any starting building or Engineer type over the crew because they are more reliant, survives more and repairs faster, specially on US currently.
i just make the vehicle crew suicide specially on Oberkommando West.

still funny though where AI abandons the vehicle and repairs it then leave it alone and gone suicide or front line mode LOL

idk why veteran rifleman or just the US rifle man feels kinda OP infantry starter where
you can have a medic attached, can build things, upgrade their basic weapon"m1a1 upgrade" and the best thing is still have 2 weapon slots*always carry x2 bazookas!*.
*best cheap infantry unit EVER!!! i'll use them over anything else in US army.
but maybe its just be doing VS with Expert IA, i haven't tried it on another player.

Pak 43 on Oberkommando West should be more expensive 1000 MP or more exp to earn or change 4th and 5th star.
it can literally 1 hit expert AI shermans and other mostly US vehicle and some soviets vehicle at 5* rank, but then again you can just mortar, arty, call air strike or flank it with snipers and infantry LOL.

everything Oberkommando West army captures should have 5* veterancy
Ostheer, Soviet, US vehicles and manned weapons.
if it might be unbalanced just increase EXP to earn before they attain 4* and 5*

Thanks for this feedback, I will fix several things.
- I know about the tank commander and I have spend over 4 hours to fix this but it's not build to be recrewed.
- I think I can fix the Spearhead bug by disable the decrew abilty while active.
- Commander tanks can not be controlled. I know you can build more at one point, but maybe that's just ok.
- Vehicle crew vs engineers, Vehicle crew is much cheaper and has the critical repair ability.
- I'll change the bazooka upgrade over the m1a1 carbines.
- I'll increase OKW vehicle crew to rank 5.
- The Tiger ace verterancy bug is not fixable I think. But maybe I can completely remove the decrew abilty.
- I'll fix the Panther Commander to normal Panther bug.
- At last I'll add the missing descriptions at abandoned vehicles.

This can take a while :P

Would you mind checking US faction since their vehicle crews are unable to disembark at all?

idk if you can do this but when a vehicle explode while crew is inside can you make them survive? well somehow survive by 5% to 10% with randomly 1 to 4 crews surviving from exploding vehicle. also when a plane crashes it spawn some surviving pilots, via parachute, or at the crash site by small chance?

idk how to mod coh1 and coh 2, difficult yes but not impossible :)
