Repairable world buildings, Is it even possible?
Didn’t post this in the comments section as it kind of a screw ball question and does not actually pertain to this mod I’m just asking Sneakeye his thoughts as he seems to be a active Modder. So basically my question is about making world buildings repairable? Can you just flip a flag in their data entry IE: “Is repairable (Y/N)”? And Just to be clear I am not asking about buildings that have been flattened to rubble just ones that are damaged but still have a health bar.

If this is not possible could this be an alternative; can forward headquarters / partisan headquarters be set to repairable? This might be easier to do as I think their data might over ride the data for the world building that it started as. So instead of having to flip a flag on all world building objects you can just flip it on the headquarters and whatever world building you make a head quarters would inherit the is repairable trait.

And Sneakeye I know you probably have no desire to have this in you mod I am just asking if it is possible.

It's possible with one flip, but it has to be changed on each building, just like you mentioned. The forward HQ's don't change the building, only the state which doens't make it possble to apply it only on those. Sorry for the late response, I didn't got any notification of a new discussion ;)

No problem, I was thinking that may be the case I was going to bring up this post when it looked like you where about to make an update again. I wonder if I can use a "find and replace" script to edit all of the building files in my game. And as most user made maps still use base building files it should work for them too.

Any thoughts on if the find and replace would work? And what file are world buildings in?

The buildings are all in ebps/enviroment/buildings. You have to manually clone them all in the attribute editor and then you've access to the xml files. It should be possible to make a script to edit all those xml files, maybe even in notepad++.
