OSS Operational Group Squad
Nation: USF; UK; & Soviets

Purpose: An Allied international special operations group with enhanced intelligence gathering and reconnaissance abilities who provide support to conventional combat troops and partisans in unconvential ways.

Cost: 450 – 500 MP

Skin: Mix of US Paratroopers or Pathfinders or UK Commandos

Population: 5 guys/ 8 popcap (Max out at 1-2 squads).

Call In: Unlock From Allied Reinforcement. Can only be called in once via Paradrop.

Weapons: Thompsons and M1 Carbines

Weapon Upgrades: UK Pack: Sten & Bren; USF Pack: BAR & M1 (Replaces Carbine); M1C Sniper rifle; AT Pack: 2x M9 Bazookas. (Combo: 1 Pack + M1C Rifle)

Weapon Slots: 3-4?

Explosives: Frag Grenade; Gammon Grenade; Smoke Grenade; Demo Charge

Abilities: Reveal Nearby Enemy Units (OSS can’t be seen) ; Sprint; Camouflage; Hold Fire; Give Partisans enhanced combat abilities within range (i.e. “Officer Charge” or “On Me”)

Build: Eureka Beacon; Slit Trench; AT Mine; AP Mine

Veterancy:
1) +10% Sight Range, Passive Sprint, -20% cooldown
2) +25% accuracy, +25% grenade range, Passive Healing;
3) +14% weapon range, -29% received accuracy, camouflage stays shortly after leaving cover


Hello SneakEye, I was doing some reading on the OSS and thought it would be cool if maybe you could implement this into your mod. I tried to do my best to keep the purpose and uniqueness of the OSS as an elite unconvential warfare unit without making it too OP for the game. That said, I understand that there are many limitations to the game so it might be worth it to focus the unit on intel gathering, recon, and sabotage. Essentially the OSS Operational Groups were the precurser to the Green Barrets and Delta Force of today.

Thanks for all you do on this Mod! You've got a lot of time invested in it and it shows :-)
