I dont know how well you will vibe with this, but maybe if RBR updates you could make a path in which they break away from lost hills and get close with the midwest, just think it would be cool to have Midwest stuff in the west, ik we got like immortal and montana but one of those is evil

That's a great idea, perhaps if any ideology other than rhombians becomes absolute high elder of lost hills, then that branch opens up.

Perhaps if you could use the Balance of power mechanic aswell, and if you attempt to join Midwest without enough support a sort of civil war will happen

I'll see about learning balance of power modding.
Do you want to include (or allude to) Fallout: BoS content? If so, I think some kind of unique interaction with Arroyo (and/or maybe the NCR) would be neat. As a reference to the Wasteland Stranger/Vault Dweller character that joins up with the Brotherhood in the game.

Besides being able to align more with the Midwest over Lost hills (which i think is a great IDEA btw), i think it would be cool for both the Alamo and Texas (if they stay BOS) not to eat each other up, Also TBH could have some stuff that's closer to the Midwest in terms of being able to get ghouls since that's also how they were lorewise (Although they went on a crusader against super mutants so maybe fully all Mutants), An Expanded Satellite system could also be cool since houston rockets has them.

My main issue i can think of is not really anyone in the region can threaten TBH, besides Santa Anna but that would require Alamo to not Exist or you help them in the war i guess, maybe potentially if you go FULL BOS texas alamo doesn't splinter? but that would make Santa Anna take longer to be able to fight, would mess with Lost hills and Rio Grande focuses (Plus volunteers).

Seamus, I may end up doing something like that, yeah.

Unknown, good ideas. For your second point, we're planning on having a full-scale alamo - texas bos showdown if texas doesn't submit to the alamo.
