Okay, for some reason, I found some cloudstock growing on the surface on the grass near spawn (is it supposed to do that?) and when I broke it, it gave me cloudstock seeds I could see in my inventory. Now I can plant them in cloudstock planters with no problem. Still not sure why the cloudstock on the clouds won't let me pick up the seeds though
