Do zombies fill up some hunger meter/cooldown for a while or do they go from corpse to corpse?

i know this might be dumb but im new to using mods on zomboid and i was wondering firstly how do you configure the mod and can you disable player smell at all?

When starting a new game, there's a bunch of options you can choose, you want to choose "Custom Sandbox", this is what allows you to edit all options for the game, and mods, you have activated.
