There is one race i don't get. The voltars. I like their looks and theme but they just don't seem to deliver or maybe i'm not getting it.

Their jammers are awful and kinda force you to sorcery for invi.
The tempest is awful.
Evokers seem good but it's horrible to level them up with such a lack of frontline.

They just seem to crumble in fights for a "martial" race.

What am I missing here?

I'm loving this mod.

The Voltars are from the mythic realms mod designed by Xeth Nyrrow.
I can take a look at balancing them better if they feel underwhelming.

Armor piercing is a very strong ability to have passively and stacks really heavily with unit buffs.

Apologies for the late response, I haven't had a discussion before.

I gave them +1/+1 to round them out. Lemme know if they still feel kinda bad.
They excell against the soultrapped and with cheese tactics.
