Game gets super laggy with this mod on
I know the way this mod works must impact performance in some way, but I am getting some ridiculously low FPS rates, despite having a decent rig.
I admit I do play on a heavily modded version of the game, but without the Day One mod, the game runs just fine with the mods, but the moment this mod is on, game becomes a slideshow. Even with Low zombie count, and no zombies on screen, it's barely 10 FPS. What gives?
And if it's caused by other mods, any idea what type of mods would cause something like this? Would it be clothing, or equipment etc? Thanks
Specs: i7 8770k, 16gb of ddr4 RAM, RTX 2070

Tried it without any mods other than Bandits and Bandits Day One, lags a lot once a few zombies are on screen. Is this normal?

Are you playing single or multiplayer game. What are your zombie population settings?

I increased the game's ram usage from the ini files (Game is limited to 3 gigs only by default for some reason) and it's a lot better. Still lags a lot in central Louisville but it's playable now!
Single player. population settings normal so 1.0

Where can I find this file to increase ram?

It's in your Project Zomboid installation folder, for me the files were "ProjectZomboid64.bat" and "ProjectZomboid64.json". Look it up online, there are videos on how to do it.
