I dont know if im experiencing a bug or if its a feature but i cant equip the satchel without replacing my hiking bag? i thought i would be able to have it over my shouler while i have the bag on too?

Because so many mods are trying to modify the original satchel, so to avoid conflict. You need to switch the original satchel to the separate version added by my mod in the right-click menu.

I did, but it seems to not wanna work. is there a menu i have to open to choose where to equip it or should it just work with the right click menu?

The mod is very simple and does not have any optional Settings. Added the right click menu toggle option for satchels only, right click on satchels in the item bar to toggle equipment position between "Back (vanilla)" & "Extra (mod)".

To be more specific: the mod added version that can be equipped with the backpack should show the name 'Satchel(EXTRA)'. Right click on the vanilla Satchel and select 'Make REAL Satchel' from the menu.

I have a problem, whenever i have the mod (even only the vanilla part) i cannot equip any of the britas armor pack rigs and extra bags. it just gives an error message and leaves the rig inside my inventory.
The only way to equip Britas gear was to remove the mod, equip it and then adding the mod back.
This was playing MP btw

This mod hasn't been updated for a long time and has remained at version b41. Maybe the update of britas armor has caused the problem. But I have no plan to update before the official version of b42.
