Some equipment has different armor coverage on different body parts (this might be a Combat Extended feature?). For example, the excellent marine armor has a general coverage of 26mm, but the coverage for the hands/arms/neck is lower. When hovering over these specific parts, the mod shows the general coverage 26mm (it literally says so), though it would be more logical to show the specific coverage for that part.
