How do i get rid of insanity?

is it Possible? i ate 1 too many zombie meats because i ran out of food and i kinda dont want to be insane

Depending on your sandbox settings, it fades away over time (as long as you don't eat more, or if you eat candy, it can lower your insanity)

Regarding the Insanity system, I just wanted to ask... Are any of the hallucinations outright jumpscares? I'm not opposed to things getting spooky, per se, I'm just REALLY bad with jumpscares.
