I'd say, perhaps a slightly weaker Ogre in that corner of Shady Glade? I mean, I imported my party from the game (All level 14 xD) And with the base weapons, unless crits (and exception for spells and the skeleton's Skullcleaver) my characters did 1 hp xD. So I'd say that, a new party going around would rather grab the box and run, because they'd probably get 1 hit killed.(My Minotaur has 300 hp and nearly died in one hit due to my lack of armor xD). Also I don't think the loot there was worth it, but of course, can't put too good stuff without "overpowering" xD
Now that's just my personal opinion. Otherwise, just add the "Secret found" thing in secrets areas.

I gotta say that you should make it easier to get out of the dungeon. You shouldn't through people into a dungeon with weak weapons going against strong foe and expect them to get out of the dungeon I don't think anyone has so far and neither have I even importing my level 28 party they suck in this dungeon and it is hard.

Mate, if you didn't get out with a level 28 party, dunno wtf you did. I got out and visited everythin he had to offer so far. The dungeon aint hard. Its only hard at the 2 ratlings cause you got no armor and weak enough weapons (but still 100% makeable) and as I said, an ogre.

Or your party is just really bad, I dunno

The game offers a dagger and torch, 3 stones and a fireburst scroll (weapons for everyone) and 2 blood mushrooms and a mortar. You then need to kill 1 spider to get a 3rd mushroom a key and a hat (also a sling and hand axe , unless you're blind).

I was actually concerned the the Oubliette dungeon was too easy. Still, I will make an effort to keep it accessible to everyone. Thanks guys, you rock!

Hmm you must have changed it sense @Anima: Chimère du Chaos [FR] played when I played you had ogres skeletons, and spiders etc level 28 didn't do much and giving someone a dagger a torch 3 stone and a spell that everyone should know wouldn't help much I did make it out after continuously killing enemies that are way to hard for a start of a dungeon especially if you just through them into it with the weakest weapons besides a stick and bone.

Lol I'm not trolling you my post saying that I had source up was for you, I wanted you to go and download my source look at the dungeon and there will be a lot there to help you.

And the report was for advertising your asset thing on https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/278/basic-dungeoneer-pack-one

That is against the rules of steam to advertise ;D

I've left the Ogre in there. I kind of like the fact that he's too hard to kill. Makes it a game in itself to steal his loot and escape. One could alwyas come back later to kill him with better stuff.

When I played this it was the very first release no updates had happened. And for one the ogre was in the way of getting out and there were more monsters then there are now. Another thing was I only had a dagger and 3 rocks, nothing else. The dungeon layout was also slightly different if Im remembering correctly. And the monsters health was higher then they are now :D Now I'd say its pretty nice I didn't play it but I watched the video!

Thanks Snowy, I'm glad it is more accessible now. I'm actually going to remove the door pressure plate puzzle at the end of the starting dungeon. There is a locked door in the way now but the key should be easy to find.

Also, I removed the rat people from "The Road" area and replace them with crowern..

i like to play LoG with ironman mode. so need few antivenom potion or mudwort around spiders. be poisoned = instadeath is not fun.

I just put the recipe for antivenom into the game in the first outdoor area, can't miss it :D
I'm also beefing up the herb placements.

In the first dungeon I intentionally put enough blooddrop cap to keep you up if you get poisoned, but let me know if it's still too hard!

Had high hopes...died in dungeon @ start (3 poisoned and died) - Guess I missed the mortar, there were a lot of mushrooms going !
