Community input/ideas
I'd like to hear some input from the community on things you would like to see, or things you think should be changed! One thing I'd like to brainstorm about is potentially drastically increasing the AI combat power of space colonies, which I believe should trigger the AI into attacking them with much more powerful fleets. Right now, they do pretty decent, but I find that a skilled player can easily overcome what they are throwing at you. Thoughts?

I personally would love to see more powerful fleets from the AI.
Buildable SSDs and Capital ships in skirmish.
i put in comments. but CIS fighter loadouts are pretty insane, a level 3 station is definitely really hard to kill even with a 200pop fleet. defense is much easier for players once you get a level 3 station.
Star Destroyers need an engine hard-point to halt them from retreating so easily.

Otherwise, the Empire will spam never ending swarms of admirals and SDs. Very important addition to balance how powerful a swarm actually is and easily avoidable their destruction would be during an Imperial retreat.
I think the lucrehulk battleship is a bit underpowered. In almost every situation I would pick 5-8 munificents instead of the lucrehulk because they can carry the same amount of fighters and dish out the same DPS. Albeit I do lose munificents more but I can just replace them quickly. I feel like it would be appropriate to knock down the Lucrehulk battleship's pop usage from 80 down to like 60 without changing it. Besides that I kinda wish there were more CIS capital ships.

I agree %100 and this is something I'm working on (it's very time consuming with Blender/Astromech). I'm eventually going to be adding 2 shield gen HPs and engine HPs to all Star Destroyers (ISD, procursator, etc) as well as additional trench mounted turbolaser turrets!

I also agree with this, although I'm not sure about reducing the pop cap. I'm thinking more about just buffing the total HP/SP of the ship, as well as increasing the turbolaser range and accuracy. The lucrehulk really should be a more powerful ship.
I would recommend buffing the firing rate of the Lucrehulk Battleship in that regard. The battleship fires slow and its tankiness gets slapped down with a few ion cannons.

Compensate by buffing the range and accuracy, but giving it an "All Power To Weapons" ability to make it fire ludicrously fast for a while, at the expense of shield regeneration.

Compensating for the ordinary Droid Control Ship - all power to shields. Allows that to survive longer without it being effectively nearly useless in most situations.
I personally think adding a Sabaoth Hero for the CIS. Could be Toth, since Jango is a hero even tho he wouldn't be alive technically. But i think having a Sabaoth Hero with an upgraded Sabaoth Destroyer would be cool. The ship could have an anti capital ship loadout like from the Jedi Starfighter game. The hero also could give access to Sabaoth forces to build like the frigates and Hex Deployers. Maybe also doing what Fall of the Republic did and adding in Providence and Recusant Dreadnaught variants at certain planets, but limit it to like 3 of each type.

Whilst we're on suggestions, I would love a map with more planets :)
CIS garrisons are a bit much, I would suggest either nerfing the base strikecraft stats or reducing spawn numbers. I've double the garrison spawn and reserve of republic Acclimators, Gladiators and Venators as well as changed the pelta garrison to delta-7's and I still can't get a foothold. Just can't get enough strike/screening units on the board to stop the zerg rush, they get wiped almost as soon as they spawn. Only option is to keep feeding capitals into the maw until something gives.
I think the Emperor needs to have his own flagship, maybe not the Eclipse like how he did years before. But, maybe an enhanced ISD2 with better octuple turbolasers and other weapons and Royal Guard Tie Interceptors or Tie Defenders. Maybe even an enhanced Allegiance class.

I like this idea and will look into it, but are you saying the Eclipse should go?
