How to find log file after crash
Go to my documents, my games, gates of hell, logs and open game (text file) with notepad.

Scroll down to crash, copy text right to the log end, paste it in the comment.

Good - very good, you pasted it properly.
One thing I forgot to add, look at the date of log file, when it was created. I'm not sure if mini dumps files are fresh created.
So first crash shows corruption of hotmod or west. Second also.

This lead to either - dying disc or mod corruption during activation. There is one thing worth of trying.
Go to my games, gates of hell (in my documents), search for file called options. DONT OPEN IT YET.
Start game, disable every mod. Now activate hotmod - once it's activated, alt tab and create text file somewhere, name it "mod order" or something - name doesn't matter. Open it, open options file, search "mods" section (at the end of file, copy mod number, there will be only one. Paste it to mod order. Close options file, get back to game, activate West, once activated alt tab, open options, copy second mod's number, paste to mod order, close options file, back to game, do the same with cheat. If it's gonna crash again you have to manually find cheat's name. I'll paste it here once I'll be on pc. Once you will have 3 mod names (numbers), you should paste it in options file in "mods" part.

Also got second idea. Maybe game can't handle mod reload on your PC? You know. Hotmod and west are pretty heavy. How much free disc space and RAM do you have? Are you 100% sure your files are correct? Did you tried verification game files via steam?

Thank you for the support, this is the fix from my point of view, i found the number by looking for the steam ID of the mod and copying it down. it works perfectly now, on the question you asked me. i have 16 GB of RAM and 235 GB's left on the storage that Gates of hell is on. I Verified files and they seemed all good to go.

Glad it works. System wise it seems to be fine. I wonder when devs will fix mod manager, as it mess up with every steam or system launch. Be prepared it sometimes may not work - keep the mod order somewhere in text file and in case if again this will crap out, just paste thise 3 numbers in proper place. I already made shortcut on desktop for GoH folder in my documents. This is absurd to be honest.

it is absurd, at least everything works until the next update or what the devs bring to us.

Yup, that's what I mean. Devs really need to figure out how it behave and fix it. I still don't know if in game menu it show mods with alfabetical chronology, load order or any other order - it's always best to load one mod, check options file, load other mod, again check options file (you have to close it before alt taking back to game, otherwise game will not be able to add more mods to the list inside options file) and do it till you have activate all mods you want. It's also best to have some text file with mod numbers you want to use, and load them manually via options file.

EVEN THEN you have to control options file before game launch and on system/steam launch as mod order change randomly (or mod deactivate themselves). That's why I don't play it right now.

I remember there was some mod manager on workshop - it may be another good option.

And to save your time in troubleshooting - making options file "read only", disabling steam cloud does nothing. Game create another options file.
