I'm playing France. I switched from a dual-coin standard to a gold standard, then legislated cooperative ownership, and then founded Central Europe. I can't figure out what went wrong: First, I lost my sovereign currency. Every month or two, a different screen pops up stating the "sovereign currency change" legislation has been successful. Second, my stock exchange can no longer sell bonds; all bond types are disabled, leaving only mutual funds. I'm pretty sure this system worked correctly in my early game, but I don't know which of my actions led to these two outcomes.
