TOO MANY TRAINS! Problem with Private Construction
hey for some reason my private industry in general likes to build railroads aka trains non stop. Is that supposed to happen? it practically refuses to build anything else and its rather unproductive and a waste. i think it has more with the Economic and Financial Mod because in the past when i used only the Tech & Res mod i never had this issue considering im using the compact for both mods.

the same, I can't even build anything as it spams trains in private sector build

I also have this problem with railways. They also spam ports. I suspect it has something to do with the good they are producing (transportation and merchant marines and the stock they produce) and the AI viewing it as profitable, which encourages them to continue spamming them.

You need to steer your economy a little using tarrifs and subventions.

If you need art builr up, just set the fine art to +50% sub for one year.

Railroads produce transportation which is in high demand especially if your production is on rail tracks.

If you have that method disabled (China, Russia), nobody will ever build them, and you need to pay to keep the building populated.
