Report a translation problem
As for the old 'turn it off and on again' approach, that was the first thing I did, but no luck.
I'll see if the problem persists and then perhaps post it on the bugs section of the main forums. Just wanted to see if it was an RE2 thing or not.
Sometimes if you dock to a CV or base, even with everything (except power) turned off, you'll still have some power drain (this is assuming you've used plasma turbines to make it so you don't consume power).
This is how to fix it:
While docked, turn off thrusters, weapons whatever. If your consumption is still higher than it should be; move the ship in all directions *with the thrusters off*. Check your power consumption again, it should now read the correct amount.
