Figured it out. It was an internet connection problem. Anyway to bypass being online with steam and playing this mod? I'm on a ship with spotty connection

Create an offline copy of the scenario. That is the only way. It's a quirk of the workshop that it initiates an online check when launching, and if it cannot connect it says no save or your save is corrupt!!! I learnt that the hard way and deleted a save file that was about 100 hrs in when I first started playing EGS.

thanks but its still not working offline. My saves still say missing. I also renamed the file to reforged Eden 2 like suggested in the guide.

Well it only works if you start a new save using that new local copy of the scenario.

Ok thank you for clarifying. Next game I start before crossing the gulf I’ll make sure to single it up lol

You can have two saves at once, just give them different names (or rename). When your connection doesn't work and you want to play -something- then start up with the saved copy of the Scenario.AZ long as it is a different name they should both be there to load.

If you have the space, of course. These saves get larger as you make more stuff.
