Dedicated combat ships *DO NOT* need a fridge, constructors, teleportation, even radar can be minimal since all you need is to be able to locate very close enemies.
Stripping out unnecessary fluff from a combat ship will save you a ton of cpu, best answer is to diversify. RE2 is against a one ship fit all mentality.
SVs need to be the most specialized
HVs have the most 'jack of all trades' potential
CVs take the most fine tuning and balancing if you are looking to max out CPU.
