Add-On conflict reports
A conflict between Add-Ons happens when both mods affect the same file.
For example, if Add-On 1 changes the texture “BrickwallA1.VTF”, and Add-On 2 changes it as well, the game will mark this as a conflict because it doesn’t know which of the two modifications to use.
However, sometimes the edits to the conflicting file are the exact same in both mods. This typically happens when using models or sounds from other custom campaigns in your own mod: They’re completely identical, but since the game doesn’t check the contents of the files, it only checks whether the name and directory are the same and then marks the mods as conflicting.

If you have any Add-Ons that conflict with Cold Front, share them here, and I’ll try to resolve them in future updates.

Make sure to link the conflicting Add-On, so I can actually find it, and share what specific part number of Cold Front it is conflicting with, so I know which files to look at.
If you already know which file is causing the conflict, you can include that as well, but share the aforementioned information anyway.

I have a few add-ons that improved bots AI and improved weapon's accuracy and drawing speed, and a few clothing mod, a LED flashlight mod, and a long list of MW: 2019 weapons. I wonder if they conflict with the sound files of this campaign. Because as soon as I reached the "motel" where lies the developer secret room, all the infected sound, gunshot sound, even the music suddenly went mute. Hope you fix this soon, cuz I love this campaign, feels like a canon story line, ya know..

You might have mods with sound files that have too large file sizes filling up L4D2's sound memory. That combined with Cold Front's ambient sounds being hefty as well will exceed the sound memory and cause that issue.
Either of the Dark Carnival Midnight Riders concert music already fills half the sound memory for comparison.
