I love this campaign. So many cool and original stuff here. I was so stunned to meet Mike. Didn't expect him to be an NPC and also the fifth survivor. And the ending bait got me so bad. I played on expert, and it was a pain to get through the final chapter. But its my fault for playing on expert I guess. 10/10.

@THE KERMIT EXPERIENCE - Reduce the amount of Add-Ons you have installed. L4D can’t handle many resource-intense mods at the same time.

@pryogga - Not a problem with the map, it's something on your end causing it; Most likely a specific mod, or having too many mods installed.

Good to know. I do have some that do quite a few different things. Needless to say, it was the mods. Thanks for the help, I'm glad I got to experience this campaign to the fullest!

@The Old Taylor Swiftsz - The ones you do have installed are likely very resource-intense. The quantity of mods doesn't matter for these types of things, it's dependent on how much they change/how intense their respective files are.

10 reanimation mods are going to be less demanding than 1 HD textures mod where half the game's textures are upscaled.

My god... This custom campaign is a testament to what gaming should be! 100% perfect, and I don't say this lightly; this campaign is legitimately perfection! The attention to detail alone is 10/10, but the secrets and Easter eggs add to this already awesome experience!

@The Old Taylor Swiftsz - You probably have too many other mods installed, since the campaign runs at a consistent 120 FPS on my PC, and it was even tested on a 2005 laptop where it never dropped below 30 FPS.
This was benchmarked across dozens of different devices and users, and thousands of people are playing it just fine.

Crashes are exclusively due to mods or hardware issues. The campaign was thoroughly stress-tested and runs perfectly fine in the vanilla game. It does, however, take up more resources than most other campaigns for obvious reasons, and L4D just isn't designed to be heavily modded, so you can't allocate half the game's resources to other mods when playing it.

The audio stutters are confirmed to be due to having too many/HQ sound mods installed, and a fix is listed in the Bug Reports discussion.

Heard great things about this campaign so I was initially excited to play it but I'm having trouble seeing how it's good because it's beyond unoptimized. Flickering lights, audio that for some reason keeps trying to catch up making a lot of the portion of the game silent or audibly delayed, constant frame drops and repeated game crashes. I've never run into the issues I have had in this campaign on any other maps I've played. A shame because it looks like a great custom map.

This feels like a true extended ending to l4d2, i dread to think what happens to the survivors after being taken in by the military, considering what happened to the l4d1 cast, but idk maybe the canadian military do things differently, i really like mike too (btw ALWAYS take the cola, mike stays with you until the end that way) i wonder if he's a carrier too or not
but yeah THIS should be in the offical game, not cold stream

This one is undeniably an always installed campaign. For me, along with I Hate Mountains, it's the best custom campaign ever created.

This is likely the BEST custom campaign on the workshop BUT, i would say there should either be a separate version, OR in the main campaign where the custom models are optional, as they conflict with mods for the special infected

That error means that whoever is hosting the server has a different version than you do.

For those of you who didn't read the description thoroughly,

The following mods may conflict with the campaign:
Custom populations (The campaign uses its own custom models and populations that will conflict.)
4+ players and Survivor Swaps (May break areas that require only the L4D2 survivors to be around.)
Bill voice replacement mods (Will conflict with custom voicelines.)
Survivor ragdoll mods (May crash the game when a survivor dies.)
