Oil ponds
I would like to ask, weather oil ponds are in the game, or the only way to get oil is from under water without automation.

Oil ponds are there, just look in desert biomes, but chem plants arent.

yes they are i sepend like 15 minutes found 3 deserts but yes i found one but its harder than i the normal survival but if your lucky you will find it on the frist desert
