This is exactly what I did my first play through btw...
I then realised that wasn't even needed either, and then on the 2nd play through stopped the whole EE out with a PPSH, and Jetgun (OP for travel btw, and the staff/spear thing)
This modes difficulty is probably suffering from being on BO3, I imagine there a limitations that prevent them from mimicking the gameplay, and the balance 1:1
If work arounds are found though, I think limiting the number of zombies, and adjusting the dmg/hp values could help a lot.
Not sure what they can really do about the AI and there pathing, aside from massively adjusting the layout of areas.
Would be a real bummer if they can't find a way around this. It really feels like a snoozefest. If you don't need any concentration for a game then how do you even have fun besides completing the easter egg? This would be my favorite custom map if they can find a solution.
