Events etc for the Maori and Hawaiians - look to Vanilla Portugal for examples - to give them potential to be the explorers and early colonizers in the SE Pacific
Re-do trade (lol). This scenario requires a lot of work in this area that I'm postponing til MoH comes out
The current institutions and tech are temporary boshes. Same reason as above.
Need some system for cultural province names in Europe. (Arabic/Turkic/W. African province names using the dynamic names system)
I also need to write an event to remove all the old European cores on startup so Sunni Bavaria or whatever can't pop up via rebellion.
Unique National Idea sets are necessary for.. a lot of countries.
More guidance for the AI on their colonization targets is necessary. Get Ruma to stop colonizing only half of Italy.
Some of the Muslim nations (DJK, RUM etc) still don't have "choose your religion" setup events like FAR, ALM etc
Must give European colonial regions another pass & come up with more plausible colonial nation names
Expand North American colonial regions to account for Asians consistently taking ground on the West Coast.
Give the Taino and other country ideas from the expandedtribes2 mod a cleanup and balancing pass.
Fix Ming/Korea always colonizing East Siberia. Not sure how to do this.
I'm considering slowing down the speed of early colonization a bit, but this runs the risk of making the early game pretty boring for many countries.
Not sure what to do about the "is_primitive = yes
" tech group flag. Removing it allows natives to build ships (good!) but also allows them to switch govt to Feudal/Despotic Monarchy and lose their ability to migrate (bad!). I have some ideas to fix this.
Change "italian engineer available" event to Mamluk/turkish/whatever engineer.
I need to soft-nerf the Mamluks a bit, they beat the Ottomans pretty consistently.
Revert that 1.16 colonization change - when player colonizes a European province, colonizer culture should always overwrite the legacy Euro culture. This currently does not happen.
Would be a neat and easy cosmetic change to get rid of all the European nations' loading screen art (Gustavus Adolphus etc).
I have a few ideas for events for the European colonizer states - recovering old Christian artifacts/knowledge, reusing old Frankish/Roman buildings vs tearing them down for the materials, etc. There's a great need for flavor in general
Must change the trade goods for European colonial regions, too.
The Atuan religion of Hawaii and the Maori needs fleshing out.
A few more Christian remnants might be a good idea. The Faroes? Jamtland? Sami?
The "settler band ideas" are unlocalized and need to be replaced with unique national ideas for MH1/MH2, QS1/QS2, and JOC.
FAR and ALM seem to run out of cash and stop colonizing a lot
