Suggestions I thought I'd leave here
Just thought of another really neat idea. Could you possibly add a feature where the cartography settings only take effect when you have a GPS? Also only show players on map if you have a GPS for the GPS mod? Sorry i'm only just throwing ideas out there you don't have to add them but they could be really cool for turning the map into a GPS styled map for when the GPS is on and only a regular looking map when you dont have a GPS
Thank you so much for your hard work though I don't think I can play the game without these mods now :)

no problem, i like to listen the ideas, I think I badly noted the sandbox, gps by pass, it is already used for that, or am I dont understand you?

synch map with minimap if you have a GPS on (gps screen visible.)

** oh, if you have a gps turned on, maybe you want a texture gps on map ? like minimap style ?

Hmm, under "gpsbypass" it says it applies the GPSmap settings to map. I assumed those settings were for the GPS only.

I was thinking about a setting that turns the cartography settings all on/active if you have a GPS, but inactive if you do not have a GPS

so that if you do not have a gps the map is on, but player location is off, gamma is reset, forest is reset, etc, looks like a regular map :)

Oh yes, and the ability to change player marker color/possibly show other players on map with the option to only show if GPS is enabled

we agree, there is not forest on the mini map? you would like to sync the map with the mini map, it takes the parameters of gamma / color of the mini map?

I'm trying to make it so when

If you do not have a GPS: The map will look vanilla (like regular discovered map, forest will show)

If you have GPS The map will be dark and only show buildings and roads, no forest.

1- Should it be possible to add the option in " MAP: Buildings " --> " 3 = All of the same colour ( black ) so to better simulate a topographic map?

2- Should it be possible to add the chance to assign different colours to roads, pathways and railways? ( Again so to be able to simulate a topographic map better )

If you add the relevant file you can have the chance to alter the settings in SP too when hitting ESC --> OPTIONS --> ( Mods ) tab ;)
