A Note on Canonicity (and General Comments)
Lore is a priority, but there's not always enough lore to fill in all the gaps. At the same time, there's no need to make up 100 things just to have more, more, more. We'll be responsible and tell you which parts of the mod were invented.

Factions
Elithis
Tor Elithis - Canon
Harbingers of Pain - Canon, yes Corsairs of Spite makes more sense here, ideas happen sequentially

Ind
The Scourgeborn - Plausible, lead by a canon character
Corsairs of Spite - Plausible, lead by a canon character
Firebeard's Excavators - Made it up. Counterpart to Greybeard's Prospectors, who occupy the Eye of the Panther. And these guys occupy the Eye of the Tiger, it's like poetry, it rhymes.
Guests of the Raja - Made it up, but lead by a canon character.
Deathtoll - Canon, although stretching it a bit by placing them that far east.
Suneaters - Canon, location in Ind is made-up
The Starguided - Canon-ish, Silenna Starguided is a minor canon character
Clan Festerlingus - Canon, location in Ind is made-up, but Skaven can go anywhere, can't they
Apehorn - Made it up
Uzkul Mingol Company - Made it up
Lotus Yakshi - Made it up
Thousand of Caxuatn - Made it up, Caxuatn is an old one

Nippon
Sanyo Clan - Canon-ish, based on the least stupidly named canon Nipponese character
Okumoto Clan - Canon, although it's old lore, Sold Down the River, and not clear how influential they are
Cult of Tsien-Tsin - Canon, but old lore, Sold Down the River
Eshin Clan Nest - Canon
Sons of Ptra - Completely made up, Nippon Sun vs Tomb King Sun motif. Actually, it's lead by Nekh-amn-aten, who is a canon character, so it's got that going for it.

Khosun
Cult of the Painted Skin - Canon Cathayan cult. Placement in Khosun is made-up, although reasonable, you could just say they're being influenced. It being a Slaanesh-aligned cult is also made-up, but reasonable going by the name.
The Chosen - Made it up, pun on Joseon.... and then GW had to steal my thunder with "Khosun"

Eastern Steppes
Tokmars - Canon
Avags - Canon
Wei-Tu - Canon
Rota of the Dawn - Canon
Grag-a-Mugar Clan - Canon, Something Rotten in Kislev
Nag Rippers - Canon
Blackwolf Clan - Canon, placement is questionable on the Steppes
Withered Eye Tribe - Canon
Cult of Anath Raema - Canon-ish, delves are active among the Hung, although it's Morathi specifically. Anath Raema is a (d)elvish god.
Iron Wolves - Canon, placement is questionable, they'll be moved westward if that ever opens up
Tsavags - Canon. Note that this is way after Teiyogtei died. Faction leader and starting agent are from "Blood for the Blood God".
Warherd of Kug - Canon. Again, this is after Teiyogtei died. Kug is dead too, and it's Nhaa as leader according to "Blood for the Blood God".

Khuresh
Leofric's Fellowship - Plausible, lead by a canon character who has at least some connection with the far east.
Snakebiters - Made it up. Hey, so did CA with Flamegullets and Sharkteeth
Speaking Trees - Made it up, but there are forest goblins in this area of Khuresh
Gate Guards - Canon, made up the name
Servants of the Blood Nagas - Made it up. Placeholder for the Nagas, blood for the blood nagas?
Scions of Xholankha - Made it up, although Xholankha is an old one associated with being missing.
Clan Rikek - Plausible, I think it's a mystery where they went after being driven from Cripple Peak. I say they went to Khuresh, who's going to stop me?
Agents of the Moon - Plausible
Loesh's Indulgence - Made it up
Stormravens - CA invention, technically, like Wyrmkin. Placement in Khuresh is whatever.
Orobagor Warherd - "Brood of the Naga Queens" reference
Rotten Knot - Made it up

Southern Wastes
Clan Crooktail - Canon, presents in Southern Waste is questionable, makes sense tho
Dread of Kalabad - Canon, although faction leader should really be a centigor-like dude, but we work with what we got.
Sliding Terror - Made it up
Skullfest Warherd - Canon. Although since Ograx is actually Archaon's starting hero, made the faction leader his daemon daddy.

Misc
Labourfleet of Uzkulak - made it up for variety, although Chaos Dwarves do have fleets and it is lead by a canon chd admiral. (Proximity to Galleon's Graveyard and the fact that the admiral is dead, it all starts to look reasonable).
Tide of Pestilence - Plausible, lead by a canon character
Shellcrackers - Made it up
