Hello i thought id give a crash report i received here. "The following mods cause a crash to the Database: !cr_immortal_empires_expanded.pack

The first invalid database record is SAMHAN in table prefab_types_tables and pack file !cr_immortal_empires_expanded.pack

The application will terminate now."

Would you know what the issue would be from this. It happens as i launch the game

uhm there might be a bug: caves of eystri obygdir is NOT considered a port, when I'm pretty sure settlements adjacent to the sea are ports?
or is there some lore thing going on here?
the settlement is located in south west lustria near a slaanesh, norsca and khorne faction. owned by the norsca faction.

Might be a dumb question, but the new generic Beastmen factions, they start with a settlement rather than a herdstone. The settlement doesn't seem to be functioning like a normal herdstone as the ritual cannot be carried out even after gaining ruination. is there a way around this? Awesome mod!

This is insane, Ind And Khuresh looks better then parts of the "real" map. Doing CA's job better then themselvs.

To clarify, it duplicates IEE's map and start_pos files. Doesn't even change them, so it's completely pointless. And those duplicated files are interfering with this mod and its backups. If you speak Chinese, please go explain the issue to the mod maker. I think they don't understand how compatibility works. Or they're trying to make their mod all-in-one, which, ehhhhhhh, should be advertised at the very least.

That mod is structured in such a way that it includes files that it both shouldn't and doesn't need to. (The less charitable view is that it steals content from other mods, including this one). So the fact that it doesn't work is, in my opinion, a very good thing. :KSmiley:

Guys if after the update your save doesn't work on 3.1.4c backup version try older ones. Mine loaded on 3.0.10.

Does anyone know how to get the lords to show up for the new settlements? I've tried everything I can think of. Redownloading it, updating the mod, I have Mixu with it, checking the files and making sure they are enabled. They just dont show up when I hit Immortal Empires Expanded. I just see the base lords and thats it.

Having save issues as well. Back up doesn't work, nor does any combo of disabling mods or rollback. :/

I was wondering if it’s possible to expand the size of tiles and estalia a little bit. I feel like there is room there for more settlements which might give them the breathing room to fight back more against ikit

Ya, the back up ain't working for me either. For me, I think the issue is a conflict with this mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3476727114 , which is a Nippon Mod, and a staple to my campaign. But if I disable my Nippon mod, then this overhaul works, but with the Nippon mod enabled, this mod won't work. Help please, I love the Nippon mod, but REALLY want to play this one too. The author of the Nippon mod has already updated it, but still no go.
If the Nippon mod is enabled, then I get a message at startup saying, "The following mods cause a crash to the Database: !cr_immortal_empires_expanded.pack" ("_v_3_1_4c" if the backup is enabled instead) then the game shuts off.

Managed to get my SP campaign to work using the older version.

But what can i do about my MP campaign with my friend?

Also whats going to happen when the crash itself gets fixed? just swap versions again and it should work ?

@Dragon32 That gives me a good idea of where to look for the new regions, anyway, thanks! There are still a handful of regions in the DB I don't know which in-game regions they correspond to because the names are different, but I think I can finish my patch through guesswork, enough to play even if it's not perfect. Thanks again!

Would it be possible to add some unique locations to the newly introduced areas to make them more interesting? I tend to often skip over them a bit as they dont offer any benefit over just taking other areas, sadly...

Hello! Love this mod! I am currently working on updating a compatibility patch between this and the SW-ORD Climate mod, but am a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of new regions, and more precisely trying to find them on the map.

By any chance is there a resource anywhere that shows exactly where all the new regions added by this mod appear? And even more important, something that lists the regions that have different names in the database than they do in the game? (For instance I THINK ihan_gate_1 and ihan_gate_2 are Seojin and Dongdae, but am not sure, and have only the barest of modding knowledge so have no idea where to look for that info in the mod itself.)

It took me like half an hour to locate Chi-An Hold (called chi_an_encampment in the database) for instance, and with over 100 new regions since when I first made the patch two years ago I am overwhelmed!

Honestly? As great as this mod is, I'm just fed up with my saves getting corrupted with every little update! Unfortunately, this makes this mod unplayable for me; I don't want to have to start over after every little update.

If anyone else is getting CTD from the current live version and from using the most recent backup 3.1.4c try using 3.0.10 as that one works for me. I don't really know why though as I was playing this mod just yesterday before the most recent update and I'm almost 100% sure I started the campaign ON 3.1.4c but that doesn't matter I'm just happy I can continue my campaign.

Thanks for the mod AND for being a homie by posting previous updates.

That sort of stuff is going to happen if two mods try to move the same character. I can put in one more set of checks but the end result is going to be the exact same thing as if you didn't enable the option at all.
