The Last Days of the Third Age
Height of beornings
Why are Beornings as tall as normal men and seemingly use the same models? (maybe just more muscular ones)

Is it because a larger model would have created issues with the weapons' models?
I kinda hoped to find my character as tall as a troll and defeat one in a 1v1 with my huge axe.

We don't have a skin slot available to size up their skeleton - they share a skin with other men iirc.
They should not be as tall as trolls or ents, not even Beorn was that big.

thanks for the reply. I searched some stuff about their size and there is nothing official from Tolkien's work so idk. But some have estimated about 3,5 meters or so based on a line about Bilbo being able to pass under Beorn's legs as if it were a door.

Not totally related, but to impersonate my own Beorning better I edited his stats and made him about 50% stronger with 50% more ironflesh.

so actually there is no substantial basis to believe Beornings were anyhow taller than Northmen, which were described as "very tall", but I doubt they were taller than Numenoreans so my whole post was based on a couple of bad articles off wikias which sell off conjecture as valid "Tolkien Lore".

Sorry.
